The good thing about this wave although it won't be heavy precip (if it happens at all) is because the precip will fall at night

Nam12z looks north and may hit us with the wave on this run for Sunday around 10pm into Monday morning around 9am

Edit ends up about 20 miles south of NYC but definitely more amped than the last run. This run was about 80 miles north of the 6z

Snow forecast from upton

.SUNDAY NIGHT...Partly cloudy. Lows in the mid 30s.
.MONDAY...Mostly sunny. Highs in the upper 40s.

At least they acknowledge the possibility:

Forecast currently calls for building high pressure and dry
wx Sunday night into Monday, however northerly model trend with
a wave of low pressure passing to the south that could
potentially bring wet snow on Monday has been noted and will be
addressed with the full afternoon update.

Temps near freezing

Most of the accumulations should be on colder surfaces.

I made a lot of bets with my coworkers this year and most of then I won besides the first and second noreaster. I made a bet with them again for next week for NYC to get at least an hour of snow falling, doesn't have to accumulate. Looks good for me

So are they the 12Z runs, or the 12ZcrewLoose runs?

EURO likes the 2nd. and perhaps near the 8th. for Snow.  GFS suddenly loves the 2nd and 7th for the white stuff, and the CMC never met a wave it didn't like.

How can a guy get a tan with this silliness going on?
