CLT: 1.17inches

GSO: 2.90inches

RDU: 1.25inches

My very-pregnant wife works at a preschool that takes kids through WCPSS, and therefore follows their closing decisions.

I'm not thrilled, at the moment.

* WHAT...Rain will change over to a mixture of snow and sleet
  late this morning and early this afternoon, before changing to
  all snow. Total snow/sleet accumulations of one to two inches
  are expected, with localized higher amounts.

* WHERE...Much of the Northeast Piedmont, northern Coastal Plain
  including the Triangle area.

* WHEN...Until 10 PM EDT this evening.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...Plan on slippery road conditions,
  including during the evening commute. Be prepared for reduced
  visibilities at times.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

A Winter Weather Advisory for snow means periods of snow will
cause primarily travel difficulties. Be prepared for snow covered
