And now it's rain and sleet at my house.  Literally switched in the last 2-3 minutes.

Sad trombone.

Yeah I just went outside and it's definitely rain and sleet. Seemed like it went from snow to snow/rain to then sleet/rain.

Not really liking the look of that dry slot to the SW. Might only have an hour or so left. Regardless. Loved this event.

Central Great Lakes sector loop

If the HRRR is to be believed, that precip dies out and never hits us.

Full on buffet. Sleet, rimed flakes, and plain rain coming down all at once. Driving around in my new truck is great. My old truck was a tank in the snow but my ram is a blast. Did some donuts cuz...you know....I'm immature AF. Lol

Well any responsible driver should know how his new vehicle reacts on slippery roads, right?  You were just testing things out!

Interesting right as the area of greens and yellows on the CC move past.

The exact same thing happened here. I hurried outside to get a measurement when that green/yellow area was overhead, and while I was outside, the switch back to mostly rimed flakes happened. When I got back in and checked radar, that area had moved beyond me.

Left New Windsor and back in Reisterstown.  It's like a snow globe here...whole different story with precip once you go a bit south.  Well over 1" on all the side streets.

Moderate rates, mixed bag

32.9°

eyeballing 1.5" - 2" snow before sleet city moved in.

Wondering if we can get 2".  It's dumping rimed flakes right now.  Covered up the sleet divots right away.  I'm guessing I was at about 1.8" before it switched.
