Flipped back to mostly snow for the time being. Interesting.

Those sleetish returns in S HFD county washed out for the time being

Well, at least they canceled before I left for the airport.  No more GRR, just to ORD tomorrow-Friday instead. Home for the storm, ftw.

SN+ continues.

2.5", 19*

I'm close to 2.5" now.   Dumping sugar.    22F +SN

I'm not sure how accurate the Intellicat radar is with it's p-type and transition is but ... perhaps Scott might know... but the mix axis really has slammed to a halt over the south coast over the last couple of hours.

I'm wondering if this is just a hesitation before marching in as a broadly swathed icing/sleet shield because as far as point obs go, I don't see how this cold is getting out of here prior to the low tipping the wind back around to the N late this afternoon/evening... We'll see.

yeha i just i dunno that's not looking like what it take to mechanically mix out our brand of cold loading...  good luck.  if this flips to anything it's power outages...

well, sparing an early end

Sleet line encountering a bit of resistance in N RI...but that is pretty much according to plan as most guidance has the pike region mixing around 2pm.
