We're all sleet and zr now

This is one of those times being NW matters more then elevation.  On the while NE Carroll along Parrs Ridge is the best snow location east of western MD but there are times when the mid levels warm from the south or southeast that NW Carroll can win.  Last march and march 2007 being two examples.

ETA:  thanks for the updates. Back to pre game festivities.

Been interesting:

09:00 - 32/19 and virga

10:00 - 34/21 and pixie dust

11:00 - 33/25 sleet and rain

12:00 - 31/29 and only rain - nowhere to go but up from here...

As some others have mentioned, if only we had a H to the NW to pump down some Canadian cold.  The CAD was just not enough given the strong srn flow, which is nearly NS now on radar.  Lots of yellow and even some reds in the return from the VA/NC border.  If only...   but that seems to be par for the course this year.  Congrats to those who got anything measurable.

Sleet looks like it has finally made it over the Blue Ridge. Shouldnt be long now before I start to flip. Big fat flakes falling right now. Snow and 30 degrees. The wife just got back from a trip to the grocery store. Says the back roads are a disaster. Be careful out there heading to your Super Bowl parties.
