This boosts sections of Suffolk to near 30" on the season so far. First time since the late 40's that LI had 6 seasons in a row of 30" or more. Would have been 10 in a row if it wasn't for that 11-12 dud winter.

Assuming 2.5" or so, that gets me to about 25" on the season-about average already. Definitely nothing to complain about.

Really? That’s surpring. I had about .5-1” on paved surfaces. The cold seemed to come from the east last night so maybe that’s the reason

Also we're a bit more urban so it takes longer for it to stick here lol.

Yeah we picked up another 0.5 since i cleared off 8".  Back to very light snow now.

Short term busts like this are what makes this fun.   Growing up the 80's we lived through too many negative busts.   But how many times in recent years has Upton had to play catch up by rapidly increasing forecasted amounts to catch up to conditions?  It sure is nice being on the positive side of a bust.   Wish the whole area had cashed in.
