Helps they were in the 30s yesterday. Gonna get thin in the lower terrain for sure. Can't imagine the higher terrain losing it, but theyll need some time to groom and recover

Going to be very icy.  Frozen ruts and you better have scratchers our you will overheat.  Hopefully we get some decent snow so we can recover for a nice run to end the season.

Sun came out and downtown Greenfield went from 48 to 58 in about 10 minutes.

Turned on the torch.  Best example of that I've seen was 4/7/2010 - at about 4 PM the onshore wind at PWM was overcome by the SW land breeze, and the temp went from 59 to 84 in 15 minutes.

Augusta still 39 at 11 AM.  Sun is halfway burned through the fog several times, only to have a denser bunch hide it once again.  If the sun wins (before 4 PM) it should pop the temp about 20° in as many minutes.

Augusta up to 41 at noon, just 29° cooler than ASH.
WVL same temp, so the lower Kennebec Valley has the coldest temps in Maine outside of Aroostook (still upper 30s there.)

IZG 66°F, They torch fairly easily in this setup, Up to 52°F here so we are making the slow trek upward.
