Really impressed with the growth we've had, you can definitely tell the temp is dropping as the snow has gotten finer. Don't have any measurements, but was in backyard playing with the dog and most of our tracks have filled in.

Still coming down, but with smaller flakes. Looks like a fog in some places. I measured 7.5" on a ledge in front of my complex, but got 8"+ in some grassy spots. Even roads now have 4-5" where it's not driven on. Closest wunderground station shows 31 F, with some others nearby showing 30 F.

Why is it that the most pessimistic person on here gets the most snow?

I didn't, but I certainly got a lot more than I expected.

It snowed for nearly 24 hours here. Had a small lull after the main system moved through then after the pivot we've had light snow/flurries ever since. Clippers are my new favorite

Yep, they can be fun. We just need to get them far enough south.

Wound up with a solid 11 1/2”. We are in a low lying area, so perhaps we had better ground temps than most?

Just measured 11” 2 miles S of downtown Hillsborough.

Really coming down again with the last of the backend bands.  Heavy snow and losing sunlight.  22.8.. it's very powdery.

Most I've seen reported so far...

6 ESE Schley [Durham Co, NC] TRAINED SPOTTER reports SNOW of 11.00 INCH at 4:20 PM EST -- REPORTED TO SKYWARN NETWORK.

I think there is a line from Chatham to Carrboro to hillsborough to N Durham that is going to be the jackpot
