7.5 in Danville and it is starting to light up some. Think we can maybe squeeze another inch or 2. What a storm though, defied all guidance here..

Yep a great storm. Considering the euro, gfs, and nam to a certain extent was blanking us as late as yesterday, I’ll gladly take my 5 and run.

Season total of 13 so far.

Really wish I was back home in Chapel Hill for this one, they're getting crushed. Friends say something close to 9" already. Ended up with maybe 3/4 inch of windswept powder here in Atlanta. Doesn't look like it'll break 25 today, which is cool.

I measured about 9.5" in my yard just a few minutes ago. Unbelievable. I think this is our biggest snowstorm since January 2002.

Still coming down, but with smaller flakes. Looks like a fog in some places. I measured 7.5" on a ledge in front of my complex, but got 8"+ in some grassy spots. Even roads now have 4-5" where it's not driven on. Closest wunderground station shows 31 F, with some others nearby showing 30 F.

Why is it that the most pessimistic person on here gets the most snow?
