I think the big deal is not necessarily the precip type...rain/freezing rain, but the cold ground/road/bridge pavement temperatures. It's been below freezing for over 7 days in the Triad and insolation is quickly eroding as I type meaning whatever precip does fall, could freeze and cause a lot of problems. It won't take much either.

Yea not something we normally have to worry about at all in this area.

Lol... mid levels are a furnace now.
