I'm loving the cold temps of the past week here, just SE of you. Light snow moved in for about half-an-hour and now every surface is covered.... including Rockville Pike.

Yea, this is great. Still out walking around. I'd trade .2" qpf with cold start and finish over .4 with the first tenth or two lost to melting any day. Especially roads and such. Great little event underway.

First flakes started here a few mins ago.  26/19  dp has risen steadily since mid-afternoon, but sure did take a long time for the column to saturate.  Hope the western fringe gets out towards Leesburg and beyond.

We may be the cut line.  I had some flakes but nothing now.

Its marching in from the SE. You will get back into it shortly.

I think the line sets up near the Blue Ridge.

Ripping snow now in OCMD. Heavy bands moving in off the Atlantic as the low deepens rapidly to my south. VSBY down to a mile or less. Temps cooling and snow becoming more efficient. Pics off the terrace.

Writing has been on the wall for a couple of days.  Win some and lose some.

Yes! Good job.

Seriously though, 1 or 2 inches with that follow-up cold will be nice.

Ukie looks like around .3" for BWI.  And then there's the ratios. Lol

DCA per meteogram looks like 7... maybe 8mm

Which is 0.3" QPF as well
