Can't see anywhere W or NW of Kev to ORH to ASH doing very well. It's in and out so fast.

Seems to be a pretty consistent 1.0-1.4" inside 495. Across modeling.

Didn’t you just say it looks to be a region wide event?

Early on, it looked like nothing out in Western portions, than hints of mid level magic came on. There should still be several inches out there.

Can actually already see it on IR. Probably the most well devloped eye I've seen in a blizzard since I joined eastern.

Goes-16 is a difference maker

Holy crap...abd this thing could go down another 20mb too....quite incredible if it does!

I think the low may actually be further west that than. In the absence of data, SPC uses RAP as a background. So while I do think it's in the 970s now (Diamond Shoals is 986, WPC thinks the center is closer to 976), there is a bit of a fudge factor on the mesoanalysis because it's using the RAP out there over the ocean.

Mesmerized by the offshore radar presentation but the current surface obs and disorganized bands of snow along the mid Atlantic coast so far is underwhelming.

It's going exactly as modeled, I'd just take a nap and wait until the morning

I'm seeing plenty of 1/2SM and wind gusts over 40 knots. That's nothing to scoff at.
