That's enough to dramatically reduce vis

It's all relative. 6-8" with a sub 960 mb low just offshore in early January is a huge missed opportunity in any weather enthusiast's book....

Yeah that looks great at 48h...already backing int he main commahead into eastern areas. It also seems to have some sort of enhancement on the western side and southwestern side int he mid-atlantic that is not directly associated with the main conveyor moving into SNE. Almost like what we were seeing on the GGEM a couple days ago over SNE.

We're throwing a first call once the 12z stuff is in - ~48 hours before event time is usually our standard window to talk numbers. You'll see media throwing numbers today most likely if they aren't already.
