You can hear the breeze picking up in the treetops and the sounds of branches breaking and ice shattering continuously. It'll be a miracle if we don't lose power again. When I got in last night a combination of a temp spike to 36* and gusty winds had the sound of breaking glass all around is it broke from the branches and was shattering on the ground. ma blizzard Posted December 24, 2017 Share Posted December 24, 2017 very impressed with how the low lvl cold air held on to the end, temp ended up rising to 33.5 briefly at 12:30 last night. Pretty cool to see how most of the ice remains on trees / surfaces within about 10 feet of the ground and everything above has melted off.
