We had no mixing either. The CF was pinned to Cape Ann and eastern PYM county. Modeled very well.

So this is my first stab at this and it sounds funny...but the Swiss modeled nailed the temps around here. Had it right at 32 and then dropping in evening. All other models were too warm and we sort of discussed that about the biases this time of year.

Toblerone chocolates for all?

Yeah, never mixed here either.  Scow growth and intensity suck.  Must have been like 6 to 8/1 ratio type stuff.  Temp sat at 32-33 from noon on yesterday.  My thoughts here, worked out well but I missed max zone by about 10-15mi too far east.  ML magic was the place to be.  And as far as modeled snow, the Kuchera maps worked pretty well.

We actually had a nice fatty band in the evening. It seems I git like 2" between 6:30-7:30.

One good thing about you folks who got based, there's not much compression remaining from what you measured.

Yeah the fluff I had is already compacted down quite a bit.  Maybe 4-5”?   As I was snow blowing, some of the snow landed on top of untouched and it was crushed

Ended up with 5.6" in North Haven (near Hamden). Although another spotter reports 7" a few miles from here.

Please send me or tag me with your totals in Connecticut so i can add them to my map later today.

Looks like a general 4-8 across the state with probably 2-4 in SE CT? Not sure about Litchfield Co. as i dont see any reports from there in the PNS.

Hamden.

That seems to be in line with what i have 5.6" im near the hamden boarder. But if you go by what your shoveling, im sure its only a couple inches at best. I had 5.6" with clearing the board 1X. 5" was the snow depth and about an inch on black pavement/roadways. about 2-3" on cement sidewalks.

Hello. 6.0 on the nose for Easton CT.

As always the BDR report is suspiciously low.

Thanks

Ditto. There was a solid melt layer on the drive/sidewalks. Compressed down to about 3 there.

2.5" here in Salem.  A ton of qpf wasted by melting as it sat at 34+ all day.  Snow was melting from underneath...slush on the bottom, snow on top.

Hey Seasons, ended up with 7.5 inches here in Southington.   Got into some real nice banding about 4:00 pm...and it went to town.  Great first storm...Ryan’s 4-8 call verified nicely here for sure.
