Record high at CAE is 94 so not far off. Dude it's still 82/73 for HI of 87 AT 10:00 AT NIGHT on Oct 9th. That's just crazy stuff there. Last 5 days have reached 87, 88, 88, 89, 91! At 611 PM EDT, Doppler radar was tracking a line of strong thunderstorms along a line extending from near Franklinton to near Wake Forest to near Rdu International. Movement was southeast at 10 mph. Wind gusts up to 40 mph will be possible with these storms. Heavy rain and minor flooding and deadly cloud to ground lightning will also be possible with these storms. Locations impacted include... Raleigh, Durham, Cary, Louisburg, Wake Forest, Garner, Zebulon, Franklinton, Bunn and Rdu International. PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS... Seek shelter in a nearby building or vehicle. WE had planes stacked anywhere we could, every gate was full, some got diverted to GSO. Delta had a major mess on their hands tonite. Started at 10am and left at 845pm. Im bushed.
