Yeah... the feeling of it missing harmlessly and uneventfully (for anyone in NE) well to the south is certainly palpable in that graphic, huh?

Normal or slightly above is awesome this time of year. Low 80s/40s up here in the rad pits the next 3 days. We'll have to wait until the 2nd half of the month for 30s again.

Yeah I can't wait.  I'm done with this damp chill.

The first third of the month is currently -6.7 at Mansfield and -6.5 at MVL so solidly below average in the lowest 4,000ft of the atmosphere.  

My wife wants to turn the heat on every night...I'm like not in early September.  

Let's get some dry warm days and rad nights and the foliage will go nuts.

We were seeing our breath huddled under party canopies on September 3.  Enough of this mid-October weather.
