2 dry months in a row at ISP. We need one of those August deluge storms which the 2000's have been famous for. SNJ has been the recent jackpot zone for heavy rains.

Yeah I notice the Park been keeping pace with or warmer than LGA lately. Ive seen several yrs where the Park starts to make up a little ground with LGA in 90 degree days during Aug - Sept.

I'm at work several miles NW of this one so I will miss out.

The National Weather Service in Upton NY has issued a

* Severe Thunderstorm Warning for...
  Southern Westchester County in southeastern New York...
  Bronx County in southeastern New York...

* Until 115 PM EDT

* At 1234 PM EDT, a severe thunderstorm was located over Co-op City,
  or near East Tremont, moving north at 10 mph.

  HAZARD...60 mph wind gusts and penny size hail.

  SOURCE...Radar indicated.

  IMPACT...Expect damage to roofs, siding, and trees.

* Locations impacted include...
  Yonkers, New Rochelle, White Plains, East Tremont, Rye, Tarrytown,
  Dobbs Ferry, Riverdale, Co-
  op City, Scarsdale, Bronxville, City Island, Mount Vernon,
  Eastchester and Mamaroneck.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

For your protection move to an interior room on the lowest floor of a
building.

Torrential rainfall is occurring with this storm, and may lead to
flash flooding. Do not drive your vehicle through flooded roadways.
