55.15" IMBY as of yesterday, which is second to 2011 which had 70.24" which actually had more since I didn't have my Stratus then so I wasn't getting accurate snow liquid equivalents.

I remember the record year of 1983 which was amazing for being very hot and very rainy, we had over 80 inches total that year.

I don't remember that summer being particularly warm or wet.  That was the summer before my senior year and we spent 4-5 days a week on the beach surfing, smoking and wasting time. It seems like most of Oceanside High School was doing the same B) My memory could be wrong though I guess.

We were close by I was at Lawrence No 1 school (4th grade at the time.)

1983 had the record for most 90 degree days prior to the 90s.

I've been in the village in Nyack all day and it's misty and super soggy. Is it like this away from the river too?

PS if you're passing by there's a nice little craft fair at the community center in the village, that's where I am. Stop in and say hey, third booth in from the front door selling handmade hats.

Damn man had i seen this earlier i would have stopped by, im like 2 minutes from there.

Hey guys, what's up, just got my Master's at WCSU doing my thesis on CAD in the HV. Hoping for a good winter. Interviewing with Fleet WX in POU today, can't seem to get in the door there and been 5x. Anyone else ever dealt with Fleet before? They seem obsessed with their background.

Congratulations.  I 'dealt' with Fleet many, many years ago, when I was in high school and wrote them a letter inquiring about a career in meteorology.  The guy who wrote back, his name escapes me but he issued their weather calendars and did the super long range forecasting that appeared on the calendar, was also on WHUD radio each morning with the forecast, wrote back and more or less told me to look into a different career, saying that unless I could get on TV I'd be stuck working long hours with low pay LOL.  None of this helps you but you brought back my memories of listening to WHUD to get the Fleetweather forecast and calling their recorded phone line to get their updates.

Jim Witt,  I remember on WHUD. He also did weather calendar give-outs at various locations.

Thought it went alright, took a weather test which would be easy for most in this board, stuff like which side of a hurricane has the strongest winds, is brighter colder or warmer on IR, think I stand a good chance of getting the job, like Rob said little worried about the pay though...
