haha shout out for the 18z's doing what Irma failed to do... erase a Bahaman island or two -...

kidding of course, ... Nice trough at the end of the run.. that one goes from 574 thickness and deep humidity to autumn over a much more convincing areal coverage of mid latitude N/A...   The only problem is it's 300 and billion hours away -

Looks to me like Jose's track is being guided almost entirely (if not so..) by the curvilinear course of lesser resistance that circumvents the west Atlantic subtropical ridging.. Not because of any kind of tough capture -type scenario that is typically/traditionally thought of as how these things ever get this far up the coast.

I'm sure one or two have happened like that in the past ... but who knows.

lol he hails from the legendary snow mountains of Brookhaven near Philly, legend has it the rugged terrain can only be navigated by skilled sherpa. Angry as a Yeti that one is too.
