Look like  a nice MCS forming in PA. A couple of descrete cells out in front. As long as storms to the north and south of the central part of the region steal the available energy the met area should score a direct hit from a solid MCS. Looks like the best wide spread severe situation for us in a couple years. It's also always nice to be in the center of a watch

Epic city screw zone. Oh well.

let's hope more rain/storms develops later-radar looks pretty quiet to the NW after this batch moves through.  Got a couple of storms here, the first was the best, but not much rain from either one, only .20 on the day

problem is, the best instability is with the first batch-any later storms will be mainly heavy rain and some thunder/lightning.  Also, the storms in PA will miss to the south of the city....moving SE not E

Maybe the line was a little more interesting to the northeast of me in Greenwich, but it meh at best here. You probably had some better results from the discrete cells earlier.

that's what it was, one cell popped around 3pm, had good lightning and winds.   This batch was just some very brief heavy rain and rumbles of thunder
