So I've just missed your train of storms to my north, and now the broken line is fizzling out to my west and may go south.

At least they're playing golf again at Caves Valley.

I've heard a few good rumbles of thunder here in the last few minutes. nothing around me tho.

LOL spoke too soon.  I had such a nice looking t-storm inbound that I though no way it misses me.  WRONG.  It split in two an I have missed out again except for that 5-minute shower that was probably 0.10.

I sucks having a garden hobby living in a micro-climate desert.

I can really not remember a stretch of summers like we've had recently where we can't buy an afternoon thunderstorm. Of course this afternoon's not over...

It feels like playing the lottery. Some will hit, most won't. I have also seen storms that I knew I would get disappeared on the radar at my doorstep. Someone in this area must have angered the rain gods somehow.

Line is moving east southeast which means I'll do very well today in the rain department, I should total out around an octillionth of an inch.

That's a record for Dale City on this date.

Its a good thing I am drying out again - might have to throw a keg party
