So what else is new. First day of our camping trip and it rains washing out our late afternoon/evening campfire and other activities. It has been a jinxed camping season so far. On a positive note I am opening a new business. For a mere $200 a day I will camp in your backyard guaranteeing you rain within hours. For those experiencing drought conditions this is a must do.

The Tail End.

This drought never ends for Dale City. We will see NO MERCY. However, we WILL BE TEASED. Dale City is at the very end of the forcing, at The Tail End of the storms. What this means, is that Dale City will be FRINGED by life-giving rainfall today. Our lawns will stay dry, tumbleweeds will blow on by, narrowly missing pedestrians, and the water table will continue to fall alarmingly.

We will be teased all summer long by rains which will soak the ground miles away, while we will never get to enjoy anything but our unrelenting drought. people will journey for years to get here to stand amazed at this accursed place, Dale City, which rain stays away from.

Welcome to the Horrific Drought of 2017.

I was TEASED. I did see some MIST. While I am thankful for the mist, which barely wetted the ground, I reflected upon prisoners of war who are tortured, not by being burned or beaten, but rather by being SHOWN food, food that they are starving for, but that they are DENIED.

I AM that prisoner.

I am being TEASED. I got a few minutes of MIST. IT did wet the ground. It really whetted my appetite for rain, and now I am ragingly RAVENOUS for rain.

But, I am DENIED.

Got to 93 around 5:30 or so. 87 now. No worries about steambath feel since it didn't rain here. What a difference a month makes. I laughed when I looked at the radar storm total map. Total screw job for some of us. Many did well with about .5 or so.
