Hello guys. I apologize in advance if this is not the best place to make this kind of post.

These have not been the best days of my life. They've been the worst actually. For the past week my mother has not been well with very high blood pressure causing her to suffer a brain bleed early last Saturday. For the following several days she was steadily improving until Friday morning (yesterday) when she suffered a major seizure. She has since been unresponsive with no reflex reaction to anything. So, needless to say, me and my family have been an emotional train-wreck.

Again, I apologize for this kind of post but I just felt the need to get that out there you know? Also I need to make it a point. Please Please PLEASE go to the doctor regularly for check ups no matter how uncomfortable you feel about going. You may find out something very important that may save you AND your family down the road from so much heartache and pain.

Okay, NOW rant over.

I echo Losetoa6's sentiments. Being one that let time slip by, I can't agree enough with you and your advice on getting seen regularly by the docs. Luckily for me, things are fine, but why chance it?

Hopefully things turn out well for your mom and family.

I know this is for Florida, which is why I'm putting it in Banter, but check out this loop of GOES16 over FL this afternoon!

An outflow boundary from storms south of Naples raced north, met up with the East Coast Sea Breeze over the Everglades, which helped get things going along West Coast Sea breeze thanks to outflow boundaries from the new storms. Impressive stuff!

It's just so beautiful. How were you able to post the loop?

Magic! ;)

Haha, nah. I saved it off of COD as a GIF, went to GIFY, uploaded it and copied the "GIF Link" and pasted it here. I'm assuming the board did the rest of the work. It does work on FB as well.

As of a couple days ago, multiple ensemble means were quite gung-ho about late month troughiness.  Last night's 0z eps has 1 day of it at 850mb!  The long range guidance continues to struggle!

My mom has sadly passed away. She was actually declared brain dead on Saturday but her heart stopped beating this morning at around 10:30. Thank you for all the love, prayers, and support during this time.

A decade has been offered for the rest of her weary soul.

And for the family.

This is a tough one.

My deepest condolences to you and your family during this time.  From someone who has lost a parent I know your pain.  Cherish the memories you have of her.  I'm sure you will honor the life she had as a celebration for all the good she did.

So this happened yesterday afternoon.

And this.

Have a professional building right next to our house and the corresponding parking along with it. Elderly woman decided she really didn't like our fence. She had such hatred towards it, that from a stopped/parked position she decided to drive up a fairly steep embankment with such momentum that she not only took out the fence but she also snapped several of the thick cedar logs I have for the raised flower bed behind the fence. Needless to say, I was a little put out about the whole situation. After all I liked the fence where it was and the condition it was in.

Anyway, after sitting there for a second admiring her handiwork she looked into her rear view mirror and decided she didn't like the car she saw in it. She must have had a deep hatred of that car as well, maybe even a deeper one then she had for my fence. For she then floored it back down the embankment across almost 100 ft of pavement and nailed this car with such force it pushed it out of its parked spot.

So anyway, it was a quite an enjoyable evening yesterday. After all, who doesn't enjoy talking to insurance companies. Not to mention spending an hour or two building a temporary fence to keep the dogs in the yard instead of out visiting the squirrels in the neighborhood.

Yep, sounds like a great day for you and the other car's owner. Did you find out why she had such disdain for your fence?

Condolences. Mine passed away recently as well and it can be a very trying time. If you need to talk about it feel free to message me.

Asked the officer if it may have been medically induced because the professional building has a dentist and an allergist and people sometimes have adverse effects from their treatments. He shook his head no and said he felt it was because of age.

Still bummed out about it though. Though I have a temporary fence up I have to escort the dogs outside and watch them because they are good escape artists and God knows how long it will take to get the fence repaired. And considering they are Black Labs they are high energy and need to go out quite frequently to burn their energy off.

Am truly sorry to hear this. My deepest condolences. Like a few of us here, I too have lost a parent far to early in life and understand the pain and sadness. We are a family here, so please lean on whomever when you are ready. My thoughts are with you, and your family, during this time.

I'm so sorry to hear this, George. I can only imagine the pain you're feeling right now, but stay strong, surround yourself with family and friends you can lean on, and celebrate your mother's life. Prayers are with you.
