HRRR has 101 in St. Louis.  It was a little underdone today and with slightly warmer thermal profiles on Wednesday, they might be able to pull off 103 or something.

103 it is

It looks like Dayton only managed 88*F today.

So Spartman can breathe a huge sigh of relief. :( for Stebo.

Just as expected. Still the highest temperature recorded so far this month while CMH and CVG both got 89'd, thanks to passing debris clouds this morning to early afternoon. Though DAY's previous July without any 90s was in 2014, the last time all three climate sites together had none at all in July was in 2009. Unless sometime next week (currently according to TWC) forecast highs really pan out and even overachieve, this month's predestined to be the 9th July that temperatures failed to reach 90 the whole month.

Man what a difference between 80 degree dews and near 70 degree dews.  Just stepped outside and couldn't believe how much less humid it felt compared to earlier.  It's still very humid with a dew of 71, but compared to 78-80 it feels like autumn lol.

WOW ..  moved to High desert PNW 3 years ago and extremely rare to have a DP above 60 .. maybe 10 times in 3 years ??  normally 30's and 40's DP's here all summer ..  enjoy your "cool"... want epic summers vacation here.

Yeah, the near 80 stuff it seems like you sweat almost immediately after stepping outside even without doing much.  A breeze helps but often there's not a good breeze when the dews are 80+.

It's amazing how different the air mass can be around here.  During the heart of summer we can have dewpoints exceed 80 on consecutive days, and in the winter we can have dews 15-30 degrees below zero during an arctic blast.

Yep.  Tonight would be a good example.  Leaves were barely rustling before we got outflowed by the cluster of storms passing by to the north.

CMH flirting with record max low temperatures for 7/13. An impressive 78/74 currently which appears to be the low so far. Record max min for the day is 77 in 1936. However, the good chance for storms later are likely to drop temps below the record.

And just like that, 76F at the last obs.

Hey, at least DAY wasn't 89'd, right? ;)
