Lots of scattered showers on the HRRR for today.

Scattered rather than the solid blob that came through yesterday. Areas away from the ocean influence today that get some more extended breaks of sun will probably be in the 85 to potentially around 90 range as 850's surge to around +18C.

some breaks in the clouds this morning but very humid...today could see some strong pop up t storms in places...The ac will be on also and if the Sun comes out for a few hours it will be close to 90 in the hot spots...

Thinking those 90s may be possible - we shall see what pops up

The fog was so dense here over night it sounded like constant rain with water dripping out of the trees. Almost reminds me of a redwood forest out west

Yeah.  It tricked me into thinking it was pouring a couple times.

Just 73degs. near the beach in CI.    Fog, low clouds are alternating with sunny intervals.

Sun through a very thin marine layer here in SW Suffolk. You can see it really well on the visible.

Where is this image from? It's crazy detailed, I love it.

GFS has that QPF bullseye just about every run now it seems...obviously a problem with the model.

The strange part is it's usually over Raritan Bay near Sandy Hook for some reason. It started happening when the updated the model a while back.
