Typhoon Tip Posted June 30, 2017 Share Posted June 30, 2017 heh... the stuff moving east out of NYS looks pretty benign to me - by rad anyway... there may be pulse to trigger-severe in some of those returns but by and large that's occasional downpours in sack sticker murk, with occasional crackles mainly in cloud. one or two CG's for good measure. we got hosed by clouds today... it's hot now but we would/could have had better isolated discrete cell production if we cleared out sooner. It looked intense on the radar and the lightning tracker. When the deep red area on the radar finally got here a few minutes ago (and right now) it looks like the inside of a car wash (without the soap and the rollers).
