Quite the opposite here.  It's sticky out there especially when the sun is out.

73/61 here with some breaks of sun

Yeah, classic example of speaking too soon.  With the sun poking out now, it actually feels warmer than yesterday.

70F and overcast here in Central LI.

Cloudy, cloudy, overcast, mostly cloudy, cloudy, light rain, cloudy....

Agree. This persistence of clouds, rain, and murk reminds me in ways of 2009 which also had a weak modoki Niño developing. Really missing a good, strong Nina to change things.

I haven't been following. It's raining here now. I'm trying to finish seeding/straw an area I've been clearing the past few days. Any details re: tomorrow morning would be appreciate. Projected totals as well. Happy Memorial Day.  Cheers.

Rain ending by early afternoon. Generally less than half an inch

Meteorological spring (Mar-Apr-May) is exactly 0.0 for me through today. April's anomalous positive departure equaled March/May combined negative. So spring overall has been near normal temp wise and very wet in Monmouth County. Rainfall of 6.91", 4.7", and 7.3" for March, April, and May respectively, not inclusive of tomorrow/Tuesday rain of course.

Today is a rarity for Memorial Day around the NYC metro. It will be the first Memorial Day of the 2010's that doesn't reach 70 degrees. The last time this happened was 2004.

Memorial Day's under 70 in NYC since 1970

2004...64/57

2003..56/61

2000...65/53

1998...69/59

1996...63/51

1992...61/44

1984...64/56

1982...55/50
