Hrm...48/39 at ORH yesterday. Must be BDL season.

In the winter he would have been pimping "valley eastward" in that storm...in May, he needs to make sure that east of the valley is ignored.

Yeah valley west.

We had a break of sun for a bit at about 4:00pm Sunday, but other than that it was basically misery for the rest of the day (kind of like today).

...But, Kev had a good medium range call the other day with regard to Saturday not being a total wash out. Was cloudy, but definitely not a bad day overall.

The sun popped out for around 1 minute yesterday around 6PM for us...then it hid behind its cold veil again.  Rain continues.

What do you think the odds are that he would have reported a high temp 3F warmer than the meso station 100 feet below him in winter?

About the same odds of him having a full head of hair again.

Except they have 0 correlation to temps in late May in New England as Will has shown. But you don't live here

But it does have a correlation to blocking and both the EPS and GEFS have below average 850mb temps building into the East during this time period.

Can verify that yesterday turned out to be a really nice day for central CT. Fair amount of sun from 11am-7pm and probably maxed out 62-64 degrees along the shoreline. Sounds like we really lucked out compared to the rest of the area. Good news is everyone finally breaks free of the doom and gloom tomorrow!
