It really is amazing how well these wedges hang on in the face of strong waa and model projections showing a quick erosion. Earlier 3km nam runs showed temps staying pretty cool right up until the front moves through for the heart of the wedge areas in north/northeast ga. With temps are still in the 50s over the heart of the wedge/85 corridor...and with the warm front still even south of here..and storms training along it with outflow maybe pushing against the northward surge,the wedge might once again provide an adequate defensive shield for the 85 corridor/ne ga. ..until maybe the front itself.
