downeastnc Posted April 23, 2017 Share Posted April 23, 2017 20 degrees cooler now than yesterday, and by 3-4 pm that will be closer to 30-35 degrees cooler......had several periods of heavy rain, if the models are right and a 990-1000 mb low crawls up I-95 its just the beginning, NWS has issued a flood warning for the Tar river near Tarboro already.....the river is currently at 3 ft, which is a little low.
