You got that right Met!  Barely climbing out of the 50's here again today.   Had to drive down to the valley today to warm up a little lol.

Dang man what elevation do you live at? That is super impressive for this time of the year. This morning we are at 47 degrees. Very nice!

Got down to 51.. where do you live buckethead?

Wolf Laurel Resort is a gated community of over 5,000 acres located just off I-26, approximately 30 miles north of Asheville, NC. This mature community was started in 1965 and has elevations ranging from 3,800 feet to over 5,000 feet above sea level.

Its been raining up here intermittently since 7pm.  Seems to be a daily occurrence.  No drought or wildfire concerns for the foreseeable future!

Yeah we have been getting a healthy dose of rain just about daily or every other day. We had some heavy showers this morning and looks like more developing to our west. It looks like this pattern continues for another couple of weeks if not for most of July.

Been an interesting day up here.  Awoke to a storm around 6 am, had round 2 around noon and topped out at 73 before it rolled in, and currently listening to it absolutely dumping rain on my roof.

These hit and miss storms can really hammer down. Some get lots of rain and some don't but very typically summer weather here.

It looks like we will see an increase in rain and storms starting today through tomorrow. Then we will see a significant cool down especially for this time of the year. Highs this weekend will be well below average with temps ranging from the low 70s to the high 70s with lows in the low to mid 50s with some 40s maybe sprinkled in the highest mountain peaks. Just a splendid weekend on tap for the mountains.
