Isn't the OP nam the previous para nam now? I thought I heard Wednesday it took over.

Someone said that they postponed that due to the blizzard day/critical weather day on Tuesday...unless I heard wrong?

12-16 inches over western areas of CT???  I'll sell on that too.

Yea, not worth the investment west of the river. expectations are low but arms wide open should any surprises walk through the door.

There could actually be a period of snow there before the CCB gets organized off shore and tries to back into eastern areas. This would be tomorrow night.

It's pretty funny seeing all the people who were out try to jump back in.

Low confidence... but could be big for someone

Don't worry, We won't steal your snow.

With such a strong upper low, I would imagine the lapse rates will be steep.  As long as we can keep the boundary below freezing, there would be good snow growth and somewhat powdery snow.  A lot of wind too.   B-B-B-lizz-ar, ah forget it.

we don't toss?

Even worse than 72...an 84h RGEM map.

Anyways, not surprised based on the 48 hour look though...it had a potent CCB backing NW from SE MA.

Rain on top of this

Can someone tell me how looking at this snapshot shows rain? Honest question.

There's not even a legend attached to it.  I am assuming that the color codes are for snow amounts with this one.

That's the snow accum map thru 72 hours. It flips to rain on the mslp precip chart a few hours before that and continues to rain thereafter.

I really want nothing to do with this storm but it is what it is. GFS with a big jump NW.

I feel the same way.
