Pittsburgh PA spring 2017

We're not great at many things, but when above normal temps are forecasted, we torch with the best of them.

Overall we've been above normal for about two years now. Although we've had periods of seasonal temps, this long term pattern always wants to torch when the opportunity arises.

The mean temp of 66 yesterday, is the normal mean temperature for June 5th. Very impressive warmth.

Of course it's too early to say, but this could be the first time since 1954 that February would have a higher mean temp than March.  Especially if the colder March forecast verifies.

It was close, but we did it.

Yaay.

No actually looking like less. I would bet grassy areas might whiten up but will probably melt quickly in am. Any snow that falls tomorrow will likely melt on impact. Although you never no. Some years we are surprised.:D

Got about 3.5" on the grass and light coating was on the street

Glad you're cashing in late season.

Too bad these past two winters have been duds, you probably haven't been able to fully reach your snow potential since moving.

I take it yesterday was our onion snow in which some like to call it. Looks like weather is going to change to spring-summer pattern.

Anyone have a radar loop on this storm. I wasn't watching the radar, but had no clue anything that severe was around. That's incredible. I'd love to see photos and the radar loop
