Coating of snow on the grass so far here. Can't believe the schools wasted a snow day for wet roads and a storm that'll be out of here by lunch time.

That was exactly what I was thinking.  As with most of this winter, much jumping the gun by schools in CT.  I don't think this was ever foretasted to coat the main roads, but I didn't even see any snow on secondary roads coming into work.

You have to avg more than 30... What source do you get your avg from?

Basically carried over the Norwalk average. If you look at the noaa average snowfall the line heads NE away from coast aligning Norwalk with Easton. What's weird is Bridgeport aligns with NYC which makes no sense.

It's accumulating here fine on non paved stuff, just not doing a whole lot. 0.6" Anyways, it will begin melting a bit this aftn when skies brighten.
