65 PC, glad we live here the last few days

I just want a rain break...like 3-5 days of dry. These showers are NBD, but it's getting a little annoying. Most of the yard has still not dried out from the snow melt.

We've only seen a few peeks of sun here at best the last few days. It'd be great if we could break this stubborn cloud cover so that big ball of happiness can reemerge once again. I suppose that's the price you pay for living along the coast of new england in the spring.

lol what a difference.

40F at MVL at 2pm (04/02) with a snow level that's getting surprisingly close to the valley at times in the convective showers.  That 5sm vis is probably wet snow or UP like 500-700ft above the ASOS.

Highly unlikely

Ok well my photos are so blurry even Ginx would complain, so that sucks.

But it was a Scarlet Tanager!!!!  He was on the ground gathering bits of a broken styrofoam box, then flew to the feeder and sat there for a while without eating, then left.

Will probably never see another one again.

We know of a girl (not sure of her heritage) with the name Shi'thead       Not pronounced how we would here in the States, but that is how she spells it.

Don't do that...

That is funny because I know someone who is prison guard in NYS and that same name spelling belonged to one of the inmates.
