Duration?

Prob at least 2-3 days. There's signs of a warmish storm after that but it kind of has the look of the Jan 23-24 storm where there's a high to the north and even a stale airmass could produce some marginal winter precip. We're talking like 10 days out though or more.

Yeah Wednesday is a normal snow event for most of us. Don't invest in big hit.. just a solid high end advisory type thing.

This event was nice. Lets hope for another good period late Feb into March. Question, how much snow for CT does the EURO show? Is it a little better than 0z?

Winter's peak may be after the mid week event here barring a late Feb or early Mar blockbuster. Enjjoy this week weenies and breathe it in.

I get the same impression Brian -

This week seems like a "functional winter last hurrah" before an earlier than normal "bowling season."

Some invented phrasing there...but, the former means we lose the sort of ensemble line storm production ...Then, leading into more of an amorphous thickness pattern that's got a couple roots and reasons to assume it goes above normal by some unknown margin, too.

At least we got a good 10 day period sandwiched in between spring. Still think the torch will be mitigated to some degree next week. Hopefully it doesn't all melt in 2 days.

Lets enjoy the final event mid week if that's the last one

Pretty much my thoughts, really enjoying the wintery day today

The D7 Euro has a +3 C 850 mb blue bird blue day with west wind next Sunday -

Prolly won't happen but ... if it did, you'd have your first cargo shorts afternoon of the incline season.
