Minor gripe: Why does GYX make it so hard to find snowfall totals and other storm reports? They had a link for snowfall reports at the top of their home page yesterday, but it's already gone and I can't seem to navigate my way to it. Other offices make it much more user-friendly.

Anyway, my unscientific measurement for south coastal Scarborough is ~10". Great little storm.

I have been pleading for this for a long time....but then the butt-hurt gestapo intervenes.

I've also been reprimanded in the past....sometimes you need that impetus for self-reflection...it often helps moving forward.

We as Moderators have been pleading for it for a long time.  We never had the option on the Forum until about a couple weeks ago.  It will be used judiciously now.

It's also near the bottom of the winter page.

Or you could click the Other Winter Links tab on the same page.

Or type GYX PNS into google and click the first link.

Just did - thanks.
I'm surprised my cocorahs obs didn't make it - cutoff must have been before I entered my data shortly after 8 AM.  Measured 4.6" on 0.42" LE.  It was all SN- with small flakes except at the start (9-9:30 AM) when that 1st narrow band hopped past.  I noted cocorahs reports of 18.7" from EPO and 24.0" from Cooper, about 10 miles NW of EPO.

Nothing like a good-ole New England snow storm/blizzard!  Love visiting this beautiful part of the country!!

This was by far the most "electric" winter storm I've ever documented.  Observed multiple instances of thundersnow in Providence, RI, and two other strikes at Plymouth Harbor.  Along with the intense rates (reminiscent of the major 1/13-14/16 Lake effect chase off Ontario), blinding white-out, and intense blizzard conditions...it makes this storm well worth the severe sleep-deprivation it required.  Was awake almost 40 hours straight (had to work before I rushed to get here).

I took a few pics of the impressive white-out conditions I witnessed, between Providence, RI and Sagamore, MA, as I was driving.  Can view them at my twitter account (https://mobile.twitter.com/tbrite89), if you like?

Have made it back to Providence. RI. Will drive to Virginia throughout the remainder of the day; then, arrive home tomorrow afternoon.

Hopefully, the 12z 150 hr Euro will come close to verifying, so I'll be enticed to visit yet again.   Glad so many of you had an enjoyable and memorable event, as well! :)

I was a bit surprised how well the winds did in this storm. The rapid deepening always helps, but this stuff seemed to mix to the surface pretty efficiently yesterday.

Definitely a good storm for the blizzard condition enthusiast such as yourself. It had both the intense rates and the winds in spades.

Most definitely!  Wasn't anticipating observing those impressive blizzard conditions in Providence. Thankful I left Wilmington, NC so late. Otherwise, I would've already been on the SE MA coastline, at that time.

Don't post too often in this subforum, but always enjoy reading your highly knowledgable and informative posts!

14.5 was the final in North Haven with Thunder Snow today and 2-3 per rates, I would say this was a good storm...

Looks like my forecast of 10-18 was nearly perfect for the state as 95% or more fell between that range some 18-19 amounts and i think maybe some <10 in extreme SE CT.

Please quote me or PM me your FINAL totals and ill put an excel spread sheet together and make an accumulation map as well.

14.5
