However, am concerned for the evening commute. Guidance continues
to show good synoptic lift and mid- level frontogenesis at the
onset of the snow. Very steep lapse rates of near 8 C/km combined
with good omega lift in the snow growth region could result in a
burst of snowfall. These convective parameters indicate that
snowfall rates could be closer to 1-2 inches an hour across
Western CT, RI and into SE MA. This will drop vsbys less than a
1/2 mile.

Another area of low level converge will develop during the
overnight hours but will dive into that portion of the forecast a
bit later, once the new GFS and Rgem are in the database.
