on one of the earlier GFS runs today it had  the 850 mb in our area not getting to 0c until around 11 or midnight.. so hopefully it does before then!

I have been watching it all day and it has not moved much if any but I hope when the gulf low gets closer or goes by it will swing down the 0c line.

A steady rain and 31.3 degrees. No freezing at the moment because the water is so warm from the warm, sw flow. Nice rain. Good for the drought relief. Congrats to all getting snow!

Surely at 31 degrees some of the rain is freezing to trees and power lines ?

Ground covered. Absolutely ripping snow right now. The sound is incredible-very different than what I would have in SE Wisconsin.

Where in west cobb are you? Belting down sleet here near powder springs rd.

Well after a lull and light sleet..it's back to all moderate snow and I think that wraps up the sleet for the night

Temp was 33/34 for a while but the wind has picked up a little and its dropped to right at 32...interesting watching temps up this way as there is always a lag in freezing temps just west of here...must be topography related.
