At 707 PM EST, an area of heavy snow was set to affect southern and
central New Hampshire and southwestern Maine. Snowfall is increasing
in intensity and will fall at rates of 1 to 3 inches per hour.
Travel will be extremely difficult in these areas for the next
couple of hours.

Locations impacted include...
Manchester, Nashua, Concord, Derry, Rochester, Dracut, Biddeford,
Laconia, Westbrook, Durham, Conway, Franklin, Bridgton, Henniker,
Fryeburg, Mechanic Falls, Alfred, Ossipee, Northwood and Merrimack.

Visibilities will drop quickly to less than a quarter of a mile in
this area of heavy snow.

Icy roads are possible as the snow melts on the roads then refreezes.

Fantastic time for the GYX CWA.

 

Meanwhile, I just went out and got a head start on the shoveling.  It actually wasn't that heavy.  Far from feathery light powder, but it was pretty manageable.
