...A DANGEROUS SNOW SQUALL WILL MOVE ACROSS NORTHERN PORTIONS OF THE
NIAGARA FRONTIER THIS EVENING...
At 610 PM EST, a dangerous snow squall was intensifying as it moved
south of Lake Ontario and into northern portions of the Niagara
Frontier. This area of snow will slowly move south between 6 and 8
PM and affect most of at least northern sections of Niagara and
Genesee counties and all of Orleans County east toward the Rochester
Metro area. Some bursts of heavy snow will begin to affect portions
of I-90 from about the Pembroke exit east toward I-490 by 8 PM.
Expect localized blizzard conditions, including whiteouts, with
blowing and drifting snow from wind gusts approaching 50 mph.
Locations impacted include...
Lockport, Batavia, Medina, Albion, Newfane, Le Roy, Honeoye Falls,
Byron, Scottsville and Churchville.
This includes the following highways...
Interstate 390 near exit 11.
Interstate 90 between exits 48 and 47.

NWS take the day off or is it just me... Nothing seems to be updating... All the text products are from this morning...

NWS Binghamton's watch/warning map still hasn't updated to reflect it's belated upgrade to a lake effect snow warning for Onondaga County.

I verified warning amounts and was under advisories.  Its times like today that KBGM is way to conservative!  When they need to be issued then they should not hesitate and today was one of those days!  When they witnessed how strong that band was warnings should have replaced advisories quick but nah!!
