I'm sure this question may ruffle some feathers, but I really am curious.  Do most of the PA posters in this mid-atlantic forum post here because they like it better than the New England forum...or is it more about being on the higher end of snow spectrum and gloating a bit?  I feel the same thing repeats itself every winter.  If taken at the true definition of the forum, PA is part of the New England forum correct? 

As someone who lives essentially on the fall line and not much elevation (125ft), it can get overbearing sometimes to hear from the same posters about snow totals...who live on the other side of the Mason-Dixon and/or at 1000+ feet in the mountains/foothills.  Which compared to the I-95 corridor might as well be another planet in terms of average snowfall per winter, etc.

Outside of several PA posters who are great in discussing models/forecasts etc, and/or actual meteorologists - my personal opinion would be for all the other PA centric stuff to be in a comparable forum for average winter snowfall/conditions.  Two cents, over and out.  :D

Even when I lived up in central pa a couple times I still posted in here because it was more lively and a fun group. We have a good forum. I'm not sure why others do but the pa thread is dead. Like 5 people post in there. There is no discussion. Some of them are annoying but most seem to make posts relevant to our interests. Even living in Maryland where I do I often make sure to be careful. I don't talk much about events that only impact my area.  I don't throw snow pics up when it's raining for 99% of this forum. Some people are just jerks or unaware of how it comes off.

The average in snowfall is nearly the same from where I am to what baltimore gets and other parts of Maryland so that is not the reason.

Well, this forum covers a LOT of territory, I'm 200 miles from DC but still in VA. I think southern PA posters are fine in here. Now, if they start gloating and whatnot, then there are ways to remedy the situation.

There has been so much bad posting in here this year from so many people, I've honestly lost track.

All I know is the saddest time of my American weather forum day is the delay from when I get up and have to wade through the mass hysteria bad posts about the Euro/6z gfs until Bob, or PSU, or you show up to give a bemused wtf post in response.

I think this has a lot to do with it. If it's not, then it's quite a coincidence that those folks pop in here when there's a marginal snow-in-the-north-only event or one which hits that area harder than ours.

My take is their annoying posts come when they aren't getting snow they like to find another group and tell them they aren't getting any either.

We stood in line at The Security Square Mall in Baltimore for 4 hours to see it. The line was wrapped completely around the mall. It was an  incredible experience.  People were cheering during the movie. 

They should have been escorted out of the theater.

Nonsense.  In The Force Awakens when the lights dimmed and everyone thought the previews were finally over, it sounded like the Verizon Center when the Caps score.  But the next thing was a Coke commercial and they booed like a Dallas player introduction.

The prequels made in the late 90s sucked...they don't count.

I'd swap 1 and 2, but honestly would put Rogue One at the top of all, even though the main characters aren't all there.
