...WINTER WEATHER ADVISORY IN EFFECT FROM 10 PM THIS EVENING TO
9 AM EST FRIDAY...

The National Weather Service in Pittsburgh has issued a Winter
Weather Advisory for snow...which is in effect from 10 PM this
evening to 9 AM EST Friday.

* SNOW ACCUMULATIONS...2 to 4 inches.

* TIMING...Light rain will begin early tonight, changing quickly
  to snow around or just after midnight. The heaviest snow is
  expected overnight through the morning commute Friday morning.

* IMPACTS...Untreated roads will become snow covered and slick.

* WINDS...North 5 to 10 mph with gusts up to 20 mph.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

A Winter Weather Advisory for snow means that periods of snow
will cause primarily travel difficulties. Be prepared for snow
covered roads and limited visibilities, and use caution while
driving.

This area is bad luck... I don't think with this set up this is to be our storm anyways.  It does suck seeing the USAWx guys all going nuts, but it is what it is.

I stopped going to that forum for the time being... I can't listen to them whine about a snow drought after they have seen plenty of big storms.

As mentioned that is total, so its worse than it looks for the Tuesday storm since it includes tonight's storm lol. I'm not concerned really, still to much time to nail down the exact track given the complexities of phasing, and I think there is an opportunity for a bigger storm with a further west track.
