I can't speak for everyone, but I'm ready for severe season now after today.  I'm over the "winter that barely was."  I don't realistically expect much snow this month, anyway.  We'll probably finish with another >+3 by the time March is over.

The next 10 days looks overall bad for snow.

You are actually very wrong on this. Don't look at individual threats and just look at the pattern. There is a strong block developing and if that happens then we can score easy even if theres no PNA.

If?

The snow thursday night gives us a few inches, but whatever is on the ground will be gone by Saturday afternoon with temps going near 40 and near 60 on Sunday-Monday. Next week looks pretty warm also with highs in the upper 40's to mid 50's.

I am still waiting for our cold and snowy February.

Wow!  What a wild ride in weather the past 24 hours.  I had stuff blown around on the deck last night that usually doesn't move.  There is even a trace of snow this morning.  This is why I like this hobby, though I kinda hope this will be our last snow fall tonight and tomorrow.  I am starting to enjoy the warmth and good things that come with it.

I kind of want some last minute frigid air to kill some of the bugs. Or else this could be a bad year for stink bugs and what not.

I read a nice article years back about cold and bugs and sometimes the extreme cold can add bugs to the later seasons. Many bugs eat other bugs and sometimes when one population of bugs get wiped out it lets others survive therefore you get more.

Here is just one article that I found but there are many more out there.

I have to drive to Bradford and back tomorrow afternoon. Could be an interesting drive.

Another is series of shortwaves may invigorate snow showers
after daybreak. The snow squall parameter shows some potential
for impact over locations north of Pittsburgh including I-80.
Further quick accumulation is likely, even spreading into the
upslope areas of the Ridges.

Yeah, there's gonna be a foot of snow on the ground in 90% of PA and OH on the 2nd day of meteorological spring this year.

I bet that doesn't happen..

Very late in the season, longer days, warmer ground. Plus the models are trolling you and you continue to buy in.

I bet it doesn't either. They are trolling and I am not buying in.  I know the likelyhood of getting anything substantial for rest of the way is very minimal.  But I will continue to watch and hope for something to big to develop.
