At least we might get a little fluffy snow on Thursday.  Should be decent ratio (at least 15:1).  Euro and CMC more onto it than the GFS or NAM.  Neither even really show it until a hint of it on their 18z runs today.  Perhaps the 0z runs tonight will start to catch it.  12z Euro has 0.06" at CVG which may be good for an inch of snow.  Best we can do with this pattern it seems lol

We will have to watch Thursday to see if a bit more moisture gets involved last second...

Our only hope is that this 1st wave overproduces. Let's hope it's a trend.

We'll see if we can pull off a last minute coupe to bring that wave tomorrow/Friday a bit further north and wetter.   12z NAM still has axis of heaviest or heaviest across the river valley but the sref mean shows the axis right thru central Ohio.

One thing we have going for us is we tend to do better than expected with these piddly west to east waves.

It's just the big ones we can never reel in.

ILN issues a headline for this event, yet dropped the ball on a 4-5" storm. :arrowhead:

Looking like we aren't going to score a coupe with this one.   ILN will be lucky to hit the low end of an advisory.    HRRR says widespread 1/2" to 2" across a large part of Ohio except the nw.   Evenly distributed across the board with no 'axis' of heavier showing up to the south.

Radar looks pretty anemic too.

12z euro:    3" with a front-dump Monday-Tuesday, before it all changes to rain.   And then about 8" next weekend.

Of course that won't verify and the next weekend event looks 'odd'.   But worth posting simply on the basis that it's the snowiest 10 day period the euro has shown for us all season.   Sometimes when we finally find ourselves in front of a legitimate snowy period, it starts with these fantasy storms showing up, albeit too early.

There's my glass half full for the day.:)

Oh and radar is looking better so maybe 1-2" is still on the table after all.

Ok enough of this optimistic stuff it makes my teeth hurt.
