How on Earth did Matthew get so far north??? Heavy rain making it to Dover Delaware WOW all models wrong.

Models beyond NC were clueless guessing it may because it transitioned from a tropical cyclone to extra tropical no doubt another factor is how the storm spreaded out and interacted with a strong high to the north AKA a Fall Noreaster.

Was in Delco yesterday and there was on and off light pre-frontal rain much of the afternoon.  At home, I ended up with < 0.1".  But right now am up over 1/2" of rain and rising from the back edge and apparent post-tropical Matthew stuff.  Temp has been dropping behind the front.  My high was 64F at midnight and is down to 51F now and still dropping.
