Yes agreed looks to be around 50-75 miles further W with the track....

If Hermine can remain a strong TS all the way through before pulling away and can come further W then depicted there NYC could see TS conditions for a time tomorrow at some point.

Dear lord this thread is a **** show.  Anyway as of now Nantucket is the only land ob I have seen verifying tropical storm conditions on at least 2 obs. The ship report is definitely impressive. It is important to note that the anemometer on board may be 100ft above the surface but even if it is they are having quite a day.
