The SPC has issued a moderate risk for Wiz meltdowns. People are warned to take shelter in a windowless interior room or basement.

I'm not that upset...at least activity developed and I picked a place to go to where storms happened and they did look interesting.

its worse when nothing happens or you pick  spot to go and nothing happens

were you on 169 ? That's about what I saw last week here.

Yep! You could still see a lot of branches off to the side of the road from last week. I kept thinking I'd finally found some damage from today.  That and it looked like early spring with new leaves starting to grow back in the defoiliated areas.

Had 1.52" in the last 24 hours, most from the thunderstorms that moved through around midnight.

That storm had few really loud, long rumbles of thunder.  Ones that seem to last 30-45 seconds and make the windows vibrate.  As you noted in the NNE thread MPV had 1.38" in one hour with that storm.  2.06" in the last 24 hours.

Except for a couple of one-boom TS, I've not heard thunder since July 18.  However, getting just over 2" rain in the past week has made the garden happy.

I've had 3 "Thundershowers" (can't classify them as storms) on the year.   The strongest one was in February, which in itself up this way was not that bad.   The other 2 just a little lightning and some quiet thunder.
