Not a good thing to have. it's really not that bad from a historical since as winter storms go in the SE. some of the biggest ones occurred when the mjo was in the COD . Also, another point to those anomaly maps is that they are representative of "official" reporting stations of which were at that time mostly Airport and some other official nws sites.
